This arts project used the brain as a metaphor for networking, developing pathways and making connections between people. It focussed on recent research, exploding some of the myths around disorders of the brain and creativity.

During 2014 APEX ARTS devised and toured an artistic, musical performance, themed around neurodiversity, throughout Cornwall and then further afield culminating in an appearance, seminar and workshop programme at the University of East London hosted by the Multimedia and Learning Disability Research and Development Group, The Rix Centre.

The show had an emphasis on inspiring and informing and featured original music, writings, poems and reflections. These outcomes are shared on this website alongside other artistic submissions by participants. This provides a record of the project but it can also be used as a learning tool.
